About the 3DS to BLEND converter
FurniMesh's 3DS to BLEND converter runs a server-side pipeline backed by the native Blender / SketchUp engines. Conversions complete within a 5-minute hard timeout per request; most furniture files finish in well under a minute. Materials, UV maps, and scene hierarchy are preserved wherever the BLEND format supports them. There's no sign-up, no watermark, no per-file size cap enforced by the UI.
FurniMesh natively outputs four formats — GLB, OBJ, SKP (SketchUp 2017+), and BLEND (Blender 3.0+). Bridge conversion via this converter additionally produces FBX, STL, GLTF, 3DM (Rhino), IFC, DAE, PLY, OFF, 3DS, and 3MF. Use the converter to bridge between any combination — or skip the conversion step entirely if you don't have a source file yet (the FurniMesh library ships every model in all four native formats pre-rendered).
